Jacqueline Blanco (b. 1997) is a figurative painter that resides North of Dallas. She received a BFA in Visual and Performing Arts from the University of Texas of Dallas in 2019 following the showing of her first two solo exhibitions at the Plush Gallery and SP/N Gallery. There, she presented the "Pose Series", which was a body of mixed media works that were funded by the Clare Hart DeGolyer Memorial Grant, which she was awarded during her junior year of college. This series focused on how words could psychologically hurt individuals. In upcoming solo and group exhibitions, Jacqueline will be showing her new body of work called "Gluttony", which is based on sexualizing and degrading subjects with the usage of food.
